Maintenance Manual

At TOAD'S TCG LTD, we believe that a well-cared-for cup lasts longer and serves better. Here’s how to keep your ceramic mugs, bone china, and teaware in their best condition—so that every sip feels as special as the first.

☕ Ceramic Cups & Mugs

  • Everyday Use: Durable and practical, perfect for daily coffee or tea.

  • Cleaning: Dishwasher and microwave safe, unless otherwise noted on the product.

  • Tips: Avoid sudden temperature changes (e.g., pouring boiling water into a chilled mug) to prevent cracks.

🌿 Bone China & Fine Porcelain

  • Everyday Use: Lightweight yet strong, ideal for special moments.

  • Cleaning: Hand wash with mild detergent and lukewarm water. Avoid harsh scrubbing pads.

  • Microwave & Dishwasher: Generally safe, but we recommend gentle care to preserve their delicate finish.

  • Tips: Do not soak for long periods, and dry with a soft cloth to maintain their shine.

🍵 Teaware (Teapots, Infusers & Sets)

  • Before First Use: Rinse with warm water to remove any dust from production or packaging.

  • Cleaning: Hand wash recommended. Teapots with metal infusers should be dried immediately to prevent rust.

  • Stains: Tea stains can be removed with baking soda paste or a mild vinegar solution.

🍽 Cup & Saucer Sets

  • Handling: Always lift cups and saucers separately to avoid slips or chips.

  • Storage: Stack carefully, ideally with soft padding between each piece.

  • Cleaning: Follow the material guide (ceramic vs. bone china) for best results.

⚠️ General Care Tips

  • Avoid abrasive cleaners or steel wool on all products.

  • Do not expose cups to open flames or stovetops.

  • Store in a dry, stable environment away from sudden temperature or humidity changes.

  • For gifted sets, retain packaging for safe storage and longevity.
